  • Q: What is a calling phone PIN?
A: A PIN is the personal identification number designated for that particular phonecard for you to make a phone call.

  • Q: What is the difference between a phone card PIN and a calling card?
A: A calling card is a physical card printed with dialing instructions, rules, and especially a PIN number required to make a phone call. What you buy from us on our Web site is PIN numbers only. The instructions and the rules are sent to you with the PIN numbers via email. It is fast, secure, and free of shipping and handling fees. It has the same quality as our physical phone cards sold from our retail stores and our distributors.

  • Q: Who should use prepaid phone cards?
A: Anyone who wants to make inexpensive international calls. Typically they include International callers, business people, students, travellers, payphone users, and those seeking to dramatically reduce their home or business long distance phone bills.

  • Q: Why should I use a prepaid phone card?
A: Convenient for those on-the-go. Business travellers can avoid those expensive hotel phone charges. It is cost effective, usually a tremendous savings on long distance / international phone calls. Keep long distance calls cost within your budget. Flexibility in the choice of carrier and brand.
Phone cards also make great gifts, business incentives, promotions, and a simple communication necessity!

  • Q: What is the difference between a phone card and a calling card?
A: Usually a phone card is the same as a calling card... just a different name.

  • Can I use a phone card anywhere?
A: Currently you can use 88card.com's phone card to call from USA to anywhere in the world. (It is scheduled to be use from other countries soon).

  • Can I call countries not listed here?
A: Yes you can call all countries. Right now, we cover over 470 countries and areas.

  • Q: How does a prepaid phone card / calling card work?
A: * Dial the 'access number' (usually toll-free or local) number from any touch-tone telephone.
    * At the voice prompt, enter your PIN number.
    * At the next voice prompt, enter your destination phone number.
Upon each use, the caller is told how many minutes are remaining for the pre-determined value of the card purchased.
    * To make follow on call press "#" 2 times and wait for voice prompt.

  • Q: What is a connection fee?
A: A connection fee is a charge on every call made. It works by reducing the number of minutes left on a phone card. Phone cards with high connection fees are referred to as "long call" cards. They work to the advantage of a user who talks for long periods of time, if not the entire phone card at one time. Therefore, they are more economical for medium to long calls. Phone cards that have a small connection fee or no connection fee are called "short call" cards, and are suitable for short to medium duration calls. It is very helpful if a web site has a call rate comparision tool, which takes the 'country from' 'country to' and averages the duration of the call into account. This call compare tool would then present the best cards available for your needs. Our site also displays the per-minutes rate and breaks down rates by regions. All of the PINs on our phone cards do not have connection fees.

  • Q: Do these cards expire?
A: Yes, after 90 days from first use. If you purchase several cards (by the bulk purchase to save money) then you would simply use one before starting another. The 90-day period is not activated by the purchase... only by first use of the activated card..... thus making bulk purchases very attractive.

  • Q: Will the rates change during the use of my card?
A: We reserve the right to change our rates without any prior notice. We will update our rate tables one day prior to giving official notification about these changes. We suggest that if you want to know the latest updated rates, please check with our  Customer Services

  • Q: Why do the minutes remaining on the card vary when I call to different places?
The rate for different areas varies. For example, calls to Beijing is $0.07, but calls to mobile phones in Beijing have a rate of $0.10, calls to Shandong may have a rate of $0.09. The minutes left on the card is calculated after you finish dialing your destination number.

  • Q: Can I usually get through to the countries I call to?
A: Generally speaking the answer is yes. No telecom carrier can guarantee 100% up time, but vast majority of calls get through the first time. You'll see the difference once you experience our PINs.
  • Q: How much extra does it cost to call a mobile phone in another country?
A: If you plan on calling a mobile phone in another country, just check the detailed rate table of the card. We have listed rates for the most frequently-called areas or countries. If you can not find an area, please call our customer service at 1-888-9998383 for assistance.
  • Q: Can I use these cards on my mobile phone to call other countries, and if so how much extra does it cost?
A: Provided that you have a good signal, you can use these phone cards to call other countries on your mobile phone. The access numbers (in virtually all countries) are 'freephone' numbers. Your mobile phone operator may however charge you to access 0800 numbers. Please confirm before purchase.

  • Q: Can I call more than one country?
A: Yes, you can call as many countries as your limit will allow you to phone.

  • Q: Are there agent/affiliate and wholesale opportunities available in the phonecard program?
A: Yes, you are welcome to fill out our wholesale form to request further information regarding such opportunities.

  • Q: If I experience a problem with my card, whom do I speak to?
A: While the vast majority of calls are made with ease and without problems, occasionally you may experience a problem with your card to a particular location at a particular time. If this happens please \ call or send an email to our Customer Services

  • Q: Can I purchase PINs using my company credit card?
A: Yes, provided you are authorized to do so. It makes good business sense to reduce the cost of International calls for business. Phone cards are especially good for consultants, managers, and salespeople wanting to have large savings when on the move.

  • Q: Will the PINs work from all touch tone phone.. home.. hotel.. payphone.. etc?
A: As a rule, for the countries listed, you may use from almost any touch tone phone. There are no guarantees. In some countries certain hotels may have a small surcharge on freephone access. (some hotels may bar the access number.. although this is rare it does happen). It is thought that approx 90% of all touch tone phones for the listed countries will work.
  • Q: What are my points used for?
